Jorge Ramos – CFP, CLU, CSA

Jorge Ramos has 19 years’ experience in the retail financial services industry. He was a financial advisor for seven years before taking on a management role at one of the largest insurance companies in Canada. Prior to joining Second Opinion, he was a private wealth consultant with one of the country’s most highly-respected private banks.

Throughout his career, Jorge has worked with many of the top advisors in the industry, introducing new investment, insurance and estate planning solutions to help them better serve their clientele. His wealth of experience helps him counsel Second Opinion clients on a wide range of issues related to investments and personal finances.

Fluent in both English and Portuguese, Jorge earned a diploma in international business. His professional credentials include Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Certified Seniors Advisor (CSA) and Chartered Life Insurance Underwriter (CLU).

Jorge is the father of two girls who keep him quite busy. A passionate advocate of financial literacy, Jorge started ‘Camp Millionaire’ in Canada, a summer camp that teaches children basic life skills in money management and investments. He has also been actively involved with Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Toronto for the past 13 years.
